Among Carlos' lifelong passions of making an impact and protecting the vulnerable members of our society, he also serves as a subject matter Athlete Safety Incident Response and Resolution Expert as the Director of Athlete Safety Advisory for a nationwide athlete safety insurance and risk mitigation organization. 

 A Journey Rooted in Law Enforcement and Corporate Leadership

Carlos' career began over 30 years ago in the private sector, where he quickly established himself as a leading investigative consultant. His early work included large-scale corporate investigations for Fortune 500 companies and global corporations, focusing on areas like brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, and fraud detection. These experiences laid the foundation for his continued excellence as he later transitioned into law enforcement, where he honed his skills as a highly decorated Detective specializing in major crimes to include Narcotics, Criminal Investigations, Robbery, and Homicide.

His exceptional performance as a Law Enforcement Detective earned him numerous commendations to include Law Enforcement Detective of the Year and saw him promoted to leading investigative roles in Major Crime Divisions.  Throughout his law enforcement career, Carlos became well-known for his ability to manage complex intelligence and investigations with precision, uncovering the truth in even the most challenging cases.

Carlos has led and supervised investigative teams and intelligence operations in the private sector both in the U.S. and internationally, that spanned North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.  His extensive expertise proved him as an expert resource for clients seeking thorough and reliable intelligence support.
